FISH DISABLES A YACHT.

A collision with a giant fish, probably a tunny, delayed the progress of a world tour at its outset. Local crabmen towed into Scarborough the five-ton yacht Kazak, with Mr. Thomas Spriggs, aged 32, and Mr. Cecil Johnson, 21, on board, who were on their way from Seaham to Scarborough when the collision occurred and the propeller of the yacht was smashed. The yacht also sprang a leak. They used their' shirts soaked in petrol" as signal flaree, but failed to attract attention, and they were not picked up until dawn.
