(Received 10 a.m.) ADELAIDE, this day. It has been decided to abandon the Dutch ' motor ship Victoria, which is aground east of Porpoise Head. The crew left by means of the "flying fox." The pounding of the seas has loosened the plates and there is now 16 feet of water in the holds. It is feared the ship will become a total loss. QUIET HEROISM. MISSIONS TO LEPERS. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 8. The Mission to Lepers, founded 00 \ - ears ago, is celebrating its diamond jubilee by meetings in London. Many greetings from its various branches abroad and from lepers in homes of the mission in various parts of the world have been received.
