The Hon. C. J. Trevethick, M.L.C., leaves for Wellington to-night. Jlr. H. G. R. Mason, M.P., leaves for Wellington by the Limited to-night. Mr. M. J. Savage. Leader of the Opposition, left for Wellington by the Limited last night. Mr. E. L. Rutledge. general manager of Fox Films, arrived from Wellington this morning and is at the Grand Hotel. The Hon. R. Masters, Minister of Education, and the Hon. E. A. Ransom, Minister of Lands, joined »he Limited for Wellington at Frankton last night. Mr. A. W. Hawlcy, o* Wellington, has been appointed New Zealand representative of the Federation of British Industries, embracing leading manufacturers throughout Great Britain. This in addition to his appointment as NewZealand representative of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders", Ltd., London. Mr. L. J. Wild, headmaster of the Feilding Agricultural High School and president of the Royal Agricultural Society of New Zealand, is visiting Auckland and Auckland provincial centres in connection with the new organisation of the society. He met the members of the Auckland committee of the organisation yesterday, and will go to Whangarei thi.s evening. Captain F. Govsky, who has retired on medical advice from the position of ' übourmastcr at Ocean Island, arrived . Lyttelton last week by the steamer Lady Charlotte. Captain Govsky is well known on the New Zealand coast, where he was in the service of the Union Steam Ship Company for 12 years. He intends -to settle in New Zealand.
