NEW BOYS' SCHOOL.
PURCHASE OF PROPERTY.
(From Our- Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Monday. Negotiations are at present proceeding by a syndicate financed, it is understood, from England, to acquire "Gwynnelands," a property of 90 acres on the HamiltonCambridge main road, for the purpose of establishing a large boys' school. It is stated that the buildings to be erected on. the property will cost about £40,000, subject to the negotiations being finalised. "Gwynnelands," which is at present owned by Mr. A. M. A. Jennins, is the remaining part of the original "Gwynnelands" estate, which, with the Fencourt, Monavale, and Goston esta-tes, comprised the entire Cambridge district in the days of early settlement, following the Maori wars.
