FEEDING THE MULTITUDE.—These two pictures show part of the preparations at Waahi Pa % Huntlto feed 2000 Maoris expected there to-day, as part of the celebrations for the first anniversary of the crowning of their King, Korofyi Mahuta. Prominent on the menu were potatoes, here seen being peeled by the lvomen, who chant as they ivorfc (lcfi) 9 and hundreds of eels 9 which have been cleaned and split and are being dried.
