NEW ZEALAND PAPER MILLS.
It is reported that the directors of the New Zealand I'aper Mills, Ltd., nave decided on the various tenders for the erection of the new mill at Mataura. The successful tenderers were Messrs. Wrn. McLellan, Ltd.. Dunedin. During the week the machinery in the bagroom was dismantled, packed, and dispatched to the Woodhaugh mill, which in future will carry on the manufacture of paper bags hitherto produced at Mataura. CLAUDE NEON (SYDNEY), LTD. Claude Neon, Ltd., Sydney, the shares of which have been listed 011 New Zealand Stock Exchanges, made a net profit for the year ended June 30, of £10,163, after providing £4000 for taxation. This compares with £4439 earned in the previous year, and £3028 in 1931-32. The year's dividend was 10 per cent, against 8 per cent for the previous year. Undivided profits amount to £4527. The company has a paid capital of £90,809 in £1 shares.
