GALATEA ESTATE.
TWO VISITING MINISTERS,
SHAREMILKIXG AND SCHOOL,
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day. The Hon. E. A. Rameon, Minister of Lands, and the Hon. R. Masters, Minister of Education, arrived here 011 Saturday afternoon and proceeded to Galatea to make an inspection of the estate opened up by the Government. Mr. Kamson wishes to see the genera! progress made and the condition of the property, but he has declared that he has 110 intention of changing his policy regarding the development of the property. For the present the estate wiil continue to employ sharemilkers. Mr. Masters wishes to investigate the request which has been made for a school, as already 20 children are in need of education. Accommodation has been offered at the homestead, but tho Minister may possibly decide 011 the erection of a new building. From Galatea the party went on to Te Teko to inspect the Onepu Block. They will arrive back in Rotorua to-day, and will receive deputations before catching the afternopn train.
