CAR STRIKES BOULDER.
CAPSIZE OFF ROADWAY,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MASTERTON, Sunday. A young motor mechanic, Mr. Colin McDonald." of Mastcrton, was admitted to the Mastcrton Hospital suffering from shock, cuts and bruises, received when a car driven by Mr. H. A. Harcombc. a garage proprietor, capsized on the main road near Greytown about 7.30 o'clock last night. The car, which was proceeding to Mastcrton, struck a boulder, and the' steering was affected. The car left the road, hit a stump, and capsized. The two occupants. Messrs. Harcombe and McDonald, were taken to hospital in an ambulance. Mr. Harcombe also suffered from cuts and bruises, but he was able to go home after receiving medical attention. The car was considerably damaged. Mr. McDonald's condition is reported to be satisfactory. CAR AND MOTOR CYCLIST. RIDER SLIGHTLY INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. A collision occurred 011 Saturday night at the junction of Union and Bridge Streets, between a ear driven by Mr. J. B. Armstrong and a motor cycle ridden by Mr. Patrick Gallaugher. The latter sustained slight injuries, but after receiving medical attention was able to go home. Both the car and the motor cycle were damaged. ACCIDENT AT OHINEWAI. (From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Head injuries were suffered by Mr. Robert Suilivan (4S), a labourer, when lie was knocked down by a motor car at Ohincwai 011 Saturday evening. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, but his condition is not considered serious.
