Epsom 6; Howick 14, v. Ellerslie 12. TOURNEY AT WAIHI. Visitors to Waihi at the -week-end included ladies' basketball teams from Kotorua and they -were guests of the local association at a dance at the King's Hall on Saturday evening. A formal -welcome was extended by the Mayor, who presented the Goldflelds Cup to Miss Campbell, captain of the Waikino team, -which holds the trophy for six months. The Rotorua ladies visited the Waihi beach yesterday and later the surface workings of the mine, all thoroughly enjoying their visit to Waihi. Results of games played : — Rotorua 16, beat Waihi 12. Rotorua 18, beat Waikino 17. . Goldflelds Cm—-Waihi and Waikino played a draw, waikino holds the cup for the- first tdx months.
