Queen to Send Great Cunarder To the Water. CLYDESIDE TRIUMPH. {British Official Wireless.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, September 25. Weather conditions promise to be good for the launching of Cunarder 534. The Queen will launch the great vessel by pressing three buttons. One will release a bottle of wine, which will be smashed against the bows. Another will release the holding apparatus, and the third will operate hydraulic driving rams. At this point the 40,000 tons of fashioned steel, steadied by 2500 tons of drag chains, will begin its . slow twominute run down the greased slipway into the Clyde.
