N.S.W. BUDGET.
Expenditure Exceeds Re<7enue By £3,208,391. UNEMPLOYED REDUCED. SYDNEY, September 25. The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. B. S. Stevens, submitted tho State BudgiC in the Legislative Assembly this evening. The total receipts for the past year amounted to £42,508,920 and expenditure to £45,777,320, leaving a deficit of £3,208,391.
The estimated revenue for the current financial year is £42,322,019 and expenditure £45,232,619, leaving an estimated deficit of £2,910,000.
Further reductions in taxation will be made as soon as financial circumstances permit, the Prcmiqr said.
