MR. GEORGE REID.
A former teacher of the Port Albert School for .2-3. yearn, Mr. George Reid has died at-the-age-of So. Before comincr to New Zealand Mr. Reid had medical training as a youth in and afterwards lived in India. He assisted to form a Druids' Tjodjre at Port Albert about 25 years a no. After the war he lived, in Auckland, and on the death of his wife, about four months ago. went to. live with his son. Mr. F. Reid at Port Albert Central. Other children are Messrs. J. Reid. Auckland; E. Reid. Rarotonga; J. and A. B. Reid. Port Albert: Mrs. Sadler, Maungaturoto; and Mr*. James, Takapuna.
