Heather left by train yesterday afternoon for Wellington, where he will join the Wanganella, sailing tomorrow for Sydney. The Hon. John Alexander, the Hon. T. Bloodwortli, the Hon. C. J. Carrington and the Hon. J. Tievethick,' M.L.C.'s, left for Wellington by the Limited last night. Mr. Alan K. Tulloch, of Auckland, has been appointed one of three demonstrators •in osteology at the medical school of Otago University. Captain T. J.
