URBAN FARM LAND

ASSESSMENTS REDUCED. A sitting of the Assessment Court, hclcl under the Urban Farm Land Act, 1932, was held at the Glen Eden Boroupli Council clianioers this morning. Mr, Wyvcrn Wilson, S.M., presided. A number of assessments were dealt with, some being rejected 011 the grounds that the occupiers did not derive a substantial part of their income from the use of their lands. The largest reduction was made in the case of Samuel Henry Todd, for whom Mr. ,T. L. Conlan appeared. His special ratable value 011 two blocks was reduced from £1">00 to £060. An objection by Mrs. L. Pugh was reduced from £800 to £500. and an objection by Mr. S. Pugh was reduced from £500 to £450.
