Insurances remained as firm as ever, offers.for National \'oing up to last sales price of £1 0/4, with sellers at £10/6. Mercantile Mutual were in demand at £1 3/4, but this was 1/8 too low for holders. Quite a keen demand for shipping shares was noticeable, and Huddart-Parker ordinary had buyers at £1 14/, no seller appearing.
