SPANIEL CLUB.
PARADE AT SHOW GROUNDS.
The Auckland Spaniel Club held a most successful ribbon parade at the Epsom Show Grounds on Saturday afternoon. A large number of eutries were received and the standard was high. Ribbons "were presented, to the winners , by . the president, Mr. G. A. McKendric':. The judge was Mr. W. F. O'Donnell. The ribbon for the best spaniel op parade was won by Mr. T. King. Results of the judging are: — Special Awards. —Best puppy, under six months: Mr. T. King. Best puppy, under nine months: Mr. W. Motion.. Best novice: Master N. Hunt. Best novice shown by novice exhibitor: Mrs. P. Naylor.- Best limit: Mr. W. Motion. Best Clumber spaniel: Mr. S. Hosking. Dogs.—Puppy, under six months: Mr. T. King 1, Mr. Darroch 2. Puppy, under nine months: Mr. W. Motion 1, Mr. S. Hayes 2. Puppy, under 12 months: Mr. W. Motion 1, Mr. S. Hayes 2. Limit class and open class: Mr. E. H; Martin 1, Mr. W. Motion 2.
Bitches. —Puppy, under six months: Mrs. P. Naylor 1, Mr. C. Adamson 2. Puppy, under nine months : Mrs.' N. F. Jamieson 1, Mrs. P. Naylor 2. Puppy, uuder 12 months: Mrs. N. F. Jamieson 1, Miss M. Mossniiin 2. Novice class: Mrs. Js. Hunt 1, Mr. Govan 2. Limit class: Mrs. M. Hunt 1. Open class : Miss M. Mossman 1, Mrs. C. A. Dattershill 2. Clumber spaniel: Mr. S. I-losking 1.
Ribbons were donated by Messrs. G. A. McKendrick and A. H. Buckley, Mesdames X. F. Jamieson and H. Sheldon, and Misses Z. Swain, 0. Baxter, Mossman and Elliot.
