WAIHI GUN CLUB. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI. this day. In the eye-opener at the Waihi Gun Club's shoot J. Furey, H. Kae and W. Meir divided the pool with a possible of six birds each. The novice trophy was won by J. Furey, with a possible of eight birds. For the open trophy H. Rae scored a possible six birds, R. Scobbie and M. Allen being second with five each. No. 1 sweep was won after a shoot-off by L. Leach, with W. Meir second. In No. 2 sweep W. Meir, H. Bae, T. Lloyd and W. Puttan divided the money.
