TAKAPUNA AMATEURS.

The Takapuna Amateur Cycling Club held its annual senior championship on Saturday over a 2-1-mile course. Ihe race was also a sealed handicap. The winner was Ross .1 tints, Ihis has been a remarkable season for him; He is only 16 years of age, and this makes his third win this season, he having already won the Auckland provincial championship and his own club's junior championship, and finished oft on Saturday with the club s senior honours. BEACH HAVEN CLUB. The Beach Haven Amateur Cycle Club held two races. The junior event was two laps, equalling eight miles, and the senior six laps, equalling 2-1 miles, for a cup donated by the club captain, Mr. B. G. Sharp. Results : — Senior. —.T. Harris (4.0), 75.24, 1 and fastest time; A. Elia (4.0), 70.17, 2; B. Evans (3.30), 76.12, 3. Junior.—B. C. Milder (5.30). 30.45. 1; R. Elia (30s), 20.11, 2; R. Tout (455), 28.0, 3. The fastest time was recorded by Elia. The senior lap record was broken by J. Culpan, who reduced it from 3 1.54 to 11.30. LYNNDALE AMATEURS. The Eynndalc Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club continued its series of road races at «Ncw Lynn on Saturday with a 12 Jmile combined senior and junior race. Result: —Graham Hughes 44.7, 1; Roy Campbell 44.8, 2; George Holton 44.43, 3; Ernie Carr 44.45, 4. Fastest Time.—Graham Hughes 36.37, 1; Roy Campbell 37.8, 2 ; Stan Alderson 30.22, 3.PAPATOETOE CLUB. The Papatoetoe Amateur Athletic and Cycle CI lib concluded its winter road-racing season on Saturday with a race to Clevedon and back, a distance o£ 30 miles. Results: It. McDonald (12.0), 93.34, 1; R. Waite (12.0), 93.37. 2; J. Picknell (8.0), 90.0, 3; A. Vazey (5.0), 57.24, 4. Fastest time: B. N. Pinfold (scr), 85.59; second fastest, S. 80.0. The season's points resulted in R. Francis and R. Alexander dead-heating for first, with M. Kara third.
