SAILING TO-NIGHT.
AUSTRALIAN HOCKEY TEAM. DEFEAT AT WARKWORTH. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WARKWORTH, thte day. The visiting Australian hockey team was defeated by the Rodney representatives by six goals to four at the Showground.-; this morning. The field was in excellent condition and there was a large attendance. Honours were about even for the first half of the game, which ended one all. The second half was played at a fast rate, Rodney holding the upper hand throughout. The visitors' goals were scored by, Leggelt (2) and Allan (2), iililo Rodney's were scored by Hood. Civil, T. Grimmer (:J) and J. Grimmer. After the match the visitors were the gueritrt of the Rodney Hockey Association at a luncheon. They Idler returned (o Auckland find will leave by the Mara ma this evening.
