AUSTRALIAN FRUIT.
IMPORTATION QUESTION. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Minister of Finance, Mr. Coates, was asked to-day if he was yet in a position to discuss the effect the election would have on the question of the importation of Australian fruit, but Mr. Coates replied that it was too early yet to go into that question.
