NEW THRILL AT BUDAPEST.

(Sent In by Mary Sullivan, 21, Richmond , Avenue, Grey Lynn.) T1 e people of Budapest can only get to the sea by taking a long train journey, so until recently only a small proportion of the population could enjoy the delights of surf bathing. Now, however, a remarkable innovation at the famous Gellcrt Bath, Budapest, has literally brought the waves to the door. Every quarter of an hour artificial wavemaking machinery is switched on, and soon regular rollers are running up and down the bath. Apart from immensely adding to the joy of the bathers, it has ben proved that the making of the waves ensured perfect aeration of the water. (Copied).
