J BODYMNE CONTROVERSY. PRESENT OF LAMB FOR LARWOOD. SYDNEY, this clay. Mr. W. Kelly, a member of the Board of Cricket Control, addressing the Victorian Cricket Association at Melbourne yesterday, criticised the attitude of the Marylebone Club in refraining from Riving a clear ruling on bodyline bowlir.g. The speaker, and others, expressed the hope thai the issue will be decided before the next visit of an English team to Australia. Otherwise, they said, complications were bound to arise. The Notts fast bowler Harold Larwood is to receive, a Christmas gift of a lamb. An. anonymous correspondent in a letter to the "Sydney Morning Herald" encloses a cheque for '25/ to pay for the gift.
