EXECUTIVE MEETING. The monthly meeting of the district executive was held on Monday afternoon ill the temperance room, Unity Buildings, when Mrs. Kasper presided over a large attendance of members. Motions of sympathy were passed to the relatives of the late Sir George Fowlds, and to those of the late Mrs. B. H. Low, o£ Timaru, W.C.T.U. Dominion , president for peace and arbitration. Arrangements were finalised for the coming district convention opening with a reception on Wednesday night, September 5, in the Unity Hall. A deputation was arranged to interview the Council of Christian Congregations regarding "Cocktail drinking among young people."
