TO VISIT AUSTRALIA.
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL
LEAVING ON OCTOBER 5

WELLINGTON, this day
His Excellency the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, has received the permission of the King to visit the Commonwealth in October. He proposes to leave with Lady Bledisloe on October 5 for Sjrdney, and return on October 23, and hopes during his short visit to become ■better acquainted with the present economic, social and other conditions of the Commonwealth.
The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, will act as deputy during Lord Bledisloe's absence.
