CONTROL OF DENTISTS
It is proposed to establish a Dental Council to control tlie profession and its members. Who would pay the cost of this control? The people. Each dentist would be charged a practising fee, and naturally he would pass this on to the public. Surely the public pay enough for dental services at present without any extras being attached thereto. Further, I understand it is the intention of the iNew Zealand Dental Council (if formed) to stop all forms of advertising. I know that thanka to advertising I got a good upper set of teeth cheaply. If the Dental Council is formed and all advertisements; are disallowed the public will not know what they will have to pay for teeth. Surely at the present time a working man like myself finds it hard enough to live and to try to pay his way without having prices of teeth raised. How is the relief worker, who is battling hard enough now, ever goiii" to obtain a ect of teeth should he require them? A WORKER.
