TO-MORROW'S SENIOR CONTESTS. At Remuera No. 2 ground to-morrow afternoon St. Luke's and Soinerville wjll meet in the second series of games for the Devonport Shield. As each had defeated the other in the Davis Cup, Saturdays meeting should provide a keen tussle. Wesley meet North Shore on No. 3 ground, while 'Varsity journey to Papatoetoe. Ladies' and lower grade competitions will be continued, the former fixtures being: Kiwi v. Clevedon, 1.50 p.m.; Wesley v. Ngaro, 3.5 p.m. Technical has drawn the bye.
ALTERATION IN THIRD GRADE
TAIHAPE ASSOCIATION
CANTERBURY BEAT SOUTHLAND.
The following alteration has been made in the Auckland Hockey Association's third grade draw for to-morrow: —Mount Albert Grammar v. Pukenui Pirates, Kemuera No. 8, 1.50 p.m.
The annual ladies' tournament for the 'joblin Cup resulted: —
Section Winners. —Carnarvon, Hinekoa and Bunuythorpe. „ Semi-final. —Carnarvon beat Ilinekoa. Final.—Carnarvon beat Bunuythorpe by a hit over the line, after extra time had been played. The men's •"> α-slde competition for the Quirke Cup was also played. Seinl-flnals.— Coylton A (Fellding) .1. beat Old Boys (Tauniarunr 1 ) 1: Wanderers (Feilding) 2. heat Tokornnsai 1. Final —Coylton beat Wanderers by a hit over the line, after extra time had been played.
