The telegraphic cliess match between Auckland and Wellington and Christthurcll and Ouncdin. coinnienced hist Saturday will be concluded to-night, and games unfinished ut 11 p.m.. will be adjudicated. Each team has plaoed its best available 20 men at the boards, and when play concluded last week the'match between Auckland and Wellington had an even appearance. Three medical men are playing—Dr. Barnett (Dunediu), Dr. Myers (Wellington) and . Dr. -T. Gordon Short (Auckland).
