BILL BEFORE COMMITTEE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reportar ) : WELLINGTON, this day. Nearly 13,000 signatures are attached to the petitions which have been presented to the House of Representatives in support of the proposal for the repeal of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Act. The anticipated debate on the measure of Mr. A. Harris (Government Waitemata), which seeks to elunate the enactment from the Statute Book, did not eventuate yesterday, the bill beiris merely road a second time pio forma and referred to the Industnos and Conuneroe Committee.
