Ladies' Singles.—Neediham beat Mrs. Clarke, 9—5; Miss Hackett beat Miss Barrier, 9—5. Men's Doubles. —Crocker and Orbell beat Barrier and Gribble, 11—5; Rennie and McDonald beat Bull and Clark, 11—7.
Ladies' Doubles.—Misses Needham and Hackett beat Mrs. Clark and Miss Barrier, 9—5; Misses Somerville and Jessup beat Mrs. Heighway and Miss Moodie, 9—o.
Combined Doubles.—Rennie and Miss .Somerville beat Bull and Miss Moodie, 13—11 ; McDonald and Miss Jessup lost to Clark and Mrs. Heighway, 10—12.
Ngatira won by nine rubbers to one, and became the section victor.
BALMORAL V. BAYFIELD. (Balmoral names first.) Men's Singles.—R. Carter beat Brooking, 11—7 ; c. Coyte beat Webster, 11—0. Ladies' Singles.—Miss Bark beat Miss Nicholls, 9 —6 ; Mrs. Coyte beat Miss Jones, 9—5. Men's Doubles.—Carter and Coyte beat Brooking and Webster, 11 —8: Hupton and Bucknnll lost to Pybus and Busby, 6—ll. Ladies' Doubles.—.Miss Bark and Mrs. Coyte beat Misses Nicholls and Jones, 9—o ; Mrs. Taylor and Miss Nisbet lost to Miss E. Nicholls and Mrs. Tracy, 4—9. Combined Doubles. —Hupton and Mrs. Taylor lost to Pybus and Miss Nicholls, 7/9; Bucknell and Miss Nisbet lost to Busbv and Mrs. Tracy, 7—9. Balmoral won by six rubbers to four.
