CHEAPER AND FASTER.
EMPIRE AIR MAIL NEEDS. (Received 112.30 p.m.) • LOXDOX, July 10. In his presidential address at a gathering of the Empire Air League, the Duke of Sutherland said the league would not be content until mails were, carried from Britain to Australia within a week, which was technically possible. It only required Government encouragement through the Air Ministry and the Post Oflice for its realisation. The league also wanted a cheap flat rate for Empire air mails.
