Notice is hereby given that at a Meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council, held on the 29tli day of June, 1034, the following: resolutions \veii. passea to come into force on tlie lotli day ot July, 1034. 1. A resolution prescribing tlie type and condition of premises, receptacles appliances and vehicles that may be used in the storage, treatment and distribution of milk and for such purpose and generally for securing cleanliness and freedom from contamination ot milk, prescribing regulations identical in torm with the regulations made by Order-in-Council dated the 21st day of 1024, under the Health Act, IJ-0, lot tlio iike- purpose but with the omission of sub-clause 4 of the last-mentioned regulations, and substituting the Council lor the local authority referred to therein, and also prescribing : — (1) No person shall carry or convey or caused to be conveyed milk intended for sale or to be delivered pursuant to sale (a) in or by means of an upholstered motor car or other upholstered vehicle, (b) on or by means of any motor or push cycle except In a vessel resting in a carrier littcd to such cycle, and so constructed as to firmly hold such vessel. (2) No person shall bottle or cause to bo bottled any \milk or cream intended lor sale or to be delivered pursuant to sale, except in a building or room which, if situate oil or forming part of "dairy premises within the meaning of tlie Auckland Metropolitan Milk Act, 1933, complies in all respects with the requirements of tlie Dairy Industry -Act, 1008. and any regulations thereunder, for the time being in force with respect to buildings, rooms or places in which milk may be deposited or stored, or which, if not so situated, complies/ in all respects with tlie requirements of the Health Act, 1920, and the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Act, 1933, and the regulations thereunder respectively for the time being in force witli ' respect to buildings, places, rooms or premises used for the storage or treatment of milk for retail sale. > Such resolution also enacts That no person shall send or deliver or cause or permit to be sent or delivered any bill, account or debit : note for or including milk or cream sold, unless the same bears in legible characters the name and place of business of the veudor the quantity of such milk or cream and the price i charged therefor. Provided always that the quantity of milk or-cream charged for need only be shown in the first bill, aefcount or debit note rendered therefor. ' 2. (1) A resolution revoking the prices to be charged by Milk Vendors for milk sold by wholesale for resale as fixed by revolution of the Council on the . 4th day of May, 1934. - (2) A resolution prescribing the priccs to be charged by Milk Vendors for 1 milk sold by wholesale lor resale shall be as follows: — (a) To the proprietor of a milk > shop, whether or not he operates : a milk round as well: - (1) Where same is bought in • quantities of 10 gallons or L over in any one delivery for resale in or at such shop or in or at such shop and on such milk round (if I any), lliid per gallon. (2) Where same is bought in quantities under 10 gallons ill any one delivery, lljd per gallon, for such of the [. milk as is bought for resale on such milk round (if any), and 1/3 per gallon ) lor the remainder. * For tlio. purpose of this resolution "milk shop" means any •shop, room, building or part : of a building in or at which milk is sold or offered for sale by retail. Provided that no ■ room or building or part thereof used as a restaurant, tearoom, milk bar or counter or like place where milk is sold wholly or i mainly lor consumption on the premises shall be deemed to be a milk shop or any part thereof. ; (b) To a roundsman not being the proprietor of a milk .shop for I milk bought for resale on a milk round, lljd per gallon, i (c) In any case not covered by the above, 1/3 per gallon. . These Resolutions shall come into force on the 15th day of July, 1934, and the , prices fixed as above shall operate until • the 31st day of August, 1934.
