FATALLY SHOT.

ACCIDENT NEAR WARKWORTH

Mr. Albert Wech, aged 24, single, son of Mr. Wenzl Wech, of Ahuroa, was fatally shot while out shooting with another young inan, Mr. Robert Scholium on Wednesday. Apparently Mr. Wech jumped from the bank of a stream, which is about two feet high, on to a rock and tripped, the gun being discharged by the butt striking the ground. After formal evidence of identification had been given an inquest was adjourned until medical evidence could be hoard.
