DAHLIA CULTURE.
Dahlias have now completed their season of flowering; allow the plants to ripen off gradually, and when the tops have sufficiently matured cut them back to about six inches from the surface of the ground, remove the stakes, and store them in a dry place for next season's use. Any that have been marked to discard may be rooted out at once. He careful to keep tho labels attached to the different varieties, as they easily get astray, and kinds mixed.
