JfUFUKE LADIES' CLUB. Although weather conditions -were not pleasant, representatives o£ most of the city clubs took part in the open ladies' tournament, which was held at the Pupuke course yesterday. The heavy state of the greens marred play to u certain extent, but the good conditions of the fairways made for good scoring. Mrs. P. Thompson (Pupuke), in the junior medal, went round the course in one stroke under par, her score being 8S —10 —OH. Following were the results : — Senior Medal. —Mrs. a. A bogey foursome match was played over nine holes during the afternoon and was won by Mrs. Pike (North Shore) and Mrs. Hough ton, 4 down.

The senior putting competition was won by Mrs. King.sland (Akarana), while the junior event was wou by Miss K. Churton (Maungakiekie).

The special trophy donated by Mrs. B. Goldwater for the three best cards returned was won by Mrs. C. 11. Halford (Akarana).

WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB,

The first round of the club trophy will be played on Tuesday by members of the Waitemata Ladies' Golf Club. The draw is as follows :—Mrs. O'Leary v. Miss Williams, Mrs. Tilson v. Miss Hogan.
