Puckey. ••■ • • During the absence on holiday at Dunedin of the secretary, Mrs. J. G. Lockie, of the Northcote Welfare League, these duties are being undertaken by Mrs. G. F. Curtis, of Milton Road. As both the president, Mrs. A. J. Beck, and the secretary will be away, the July meeting of the league has been cancelled, but relief measures will be continued by the executive, in conjunction with the Rev. F. A. Thompson and Mr. A. G. Osborne. The annual meeting of the league is to be held in August.
