In a paragraph laet evening concerning the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of St. John the Baptist Church at Northeote it was stated that the father of Mr. H. Creamer, of Remuera, gave the site for the church, which was erected in 1859. Mr. Creamer states that this is incorrect. The site his father gave was that on Zion Hill, on which the Methodist Church now etande at Birkenhead.
