No competitions were hold b.v the Glcndowie Golf Club on Saturday, owing to the links being closed. OTAHUHU CLUB. Tim first rounds of the EcclPß' and Ballin Ciipe were played by members of the Otahuhu Golf Club on the Grange links nt the week-end, and a bogey competition was also held. The course was In good condition considering the recent heavy rains. Results:— Eccles Cup.—D. Brown boat 11. BalgPTit, 4 and 3; McKenzie beat Stewart, 1 up; Stubbs boat F. Fenrnley, 1 up: Davenport beat Beckett, 4 and 3 ; Nicholls beat Stephenson, 4 and 3; S. Ualgent beat W. Gardiner, at the nineteenth. Ballin Cup.—O. Bayly beat Mitchell. 1 up : Kirkhrido beat Johns, at the nineteenth ; Eustace beat Caslimore, 2 and 1; C. Kay beat Kort, 5 and 4 ; K. Todd beat Aniodeo, at tlio twentieth ; B. Cooper beat Goddard, 1 up; C. Ewen beat A. Todd. at the twenty-third; G. Casson beat Dr. Valentine, 4 and 3. Bogey Competition.—B. Cooper was the winner with 2 down ; H. J. Levy. 3 down, was runner-up. PAPAKURA CLUB. The best cards returned by members of the Papaknra Golf Club in the second round for the Ttyan Cup, played in conjunction with tho second round for Mr. Walters' trophy, were as follow : K. PUPUKE CLUB. Tn the second eichteen holes of the 36holfs medaV match for tho president's prize, pbiyod by members of the Tupuke Golf Club during the week-end, the winner proved to be C. Ilowden. with a net score of 132. Next best scores: D. G. McCorkindale, 185! D. W. Dixon, 138. In the captain's prize R. raeey heat .T. B. Palmer, 2 nnd 1, and F. P. Franklin boat J. AV. Williamson, 4 and 3. A bogey match will be played next Saturday. The third round for the captain's prize must be completed by July 1.
