LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

- SANDRINGHAM. j Mrs. Wright presided over a large gathering at the Sandringliam branch of the League of Mothers June meeting. Sir George Richardson gave a lecture on the Sunshine Association, outlining all phases of its increasing activities, and brought home to his listeners the , great truth that by promoting the health of the present-day child they were decreasing the National Health Bill of the future generation. The thought was "Be yourself what you' would wish your children to be." A highly appreciated musical programme was provided by Messrs. Ward, Bourke and Flood. TOKANTJI. Mrs. F. H. Barnett presided at a wellattended meeting last week. The thought for the month was given by Mrs. H. Wvllie. A "questions" afternoon was arranged which provided for much thought and interesting discussions. On June 15 the fathers entertained the members at a social evening in their honour. Items were given by Messrs. E. and A. Austen and H. Wylie.
