CATTLE SALE AT PAPAKURA. There was a medium yarding of all classes of cattle at the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co., Ltd.'s, stock sale at Papakura 011 Friday. Cattle sold at ruling rates, prices being as follows: —Best dairy cows, £4 10/ to £6 5/; others, £2 10/ to £4; dairy heifers close to profit, £4 10/ to £5 5/; backward sorts, £3 to £4 £>/; best fat cows and heifers, £3 to £4 10/; second quality, £2 to £2 15/; boner cattle, 12/ to £2; yearling Jersey-cross heifers, 12/ to 30/; weaner pigs. 11/ to 16/; white fautail pigeons, 3/G; useful farm horse, £7.
