DAIRY PRODUCE. BUTTER QUIET, CHEESE DULL. LATEST LONDON REPORTS. Latest cable reports indicate that the London butter market continues to be | quiet, and the cheese market is dull. The weekly cable of the Press Association reads as follows:'*— Butter is quiet. Danish, SO/ per cwt. Choice! salted: Xcw Zealand, 78/; Australian, 74/. Unsalted: Now Zealand, 81/ to 83/; Australian, 75/ to 70/. Cheese i« dull. New Zealand, white, 49/; coloured, 47/; Australian, 48/ and 45/0 respectively. Merchants' Cables. The following reports have been received by Auckland dairy produce merchants from their principals in Tooley Street: — A. S. Paterson and Co. (Messrs. J. and J. Lonsdale and Co.)/ —Butter: Market quiet. Continental production at peak. Heavy arrivals increasing stock, causing temporary cessation demand. Danish, slow, 04/ f.o.b. (85/ landed); New Zealand, 77/ to 78/; Australian, 73/ to 74/. Cheese: Market dull. White, 49/; coloured, 47 /-

Market quiet. Allen and Findlay, Ltd. (Messrs. I Armour ant Company):—Butter: Market ! slow. New Zealand, salted, 77/ to 78/; unsalted, 80/ to 84./; Australian, 73/_ to ! 74/; Danish. 86/- Cheese: Market quiet.' I New Zealand, white, 40/: coloured, 47/ to 48/; Canadian, 50/ to 00/. New Zealand Producers' Co-operative Marketing Association, Limited: —-Both markets quiet. Butter: New Zealand, 77/; Danish, 86/. Cheese: White, 48/0 to 49/; coloured, 40/6 to 47/. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co. have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs. Trengrou.se and Nathan. Toolev Street:—Butter: 77/ per cwt. Cheese: White. 48/6 per cwt; coloured, 47/. Both markets very quiet. Mr. IT. S. Withers (A. C. Rowson).— Cheese: White, 49/ per cwt: coloured, 47/. Market steady. Butter: First grade. 70/ per cwt; finest grade, 77/. Demand slow; market weak.
