MAKURA AND MARAMA
ADJUSTMENT OF SCHEDULES. (Tty Telegraph.—rrcss Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Union Company's H.M.s. Makura, which was alTecteel by the recent dispute between the company and the Cooks and Stewards' Union, is to recommission at Wellington next week. She will leave Wellington on- Friday for Sydney and, from this port, will re-enter tlio San Francisco mail service. The Makura will leave Sydney on July 5 for Wellington, arriving here 011 July 9 and leaving again the following day for San Francisco, via Rarotonga and Papeete. The Makura's trip to Sydney replaces that of the Marama, which was to leave Auckland next Friday. The Marama will now leave Auckland to-day for Wellington, and is due here on Monday morning. The Marama is to complete her overhaul and survey at Wellington, and will now resume Tier running in the intercolonial service, leaving hero on Friday, July 13, for Sydney.
The Maori has re-entered the Welling-ton-Lyttelton express service. She left Wellington last night in place of the Wahine, which on her arrival at Wellington paid off, and, after discharge of mails and cargo, moved to the patent slip wharf, where she will be laid up for the remainder of the winter.
