JURY THANKED.

SEVEN YEARS' EXEMPTION. After lie had sentenced Bayly, his Honor, turning to the jury, and addressing the foreman, said: "I thank you for the'services you have given during this long and arduous trial, and the attention which you have all paid to the evidence. You are all exempted from further jury service lor seven years." With thits announcement, the Court was adjourned, and as his Honor stepped from the Bench there came excited titterings from all parts of the Court. The crowd tiled out, talking loudly. Men and women leaned over t lie parapet at the "back of the Court in an effort to catch a Jinal glimpse of Bayly. They saw him only momentarily. Slowly the crowd went on their way, while women leaned from every window of nearby flats overlooking the Court.
