COUNTRY RELIEF WORK.

A young man lias just Arrived in the city from the relief workers' camp. He and others have left camp on protest. It appears that the married men are- to take their place on the road work camp and the single men arc offered work on a forestry plantation. This apparently is not to their liking. To my mind, this is ungratefulness. Many of us 'are up against it, and we are doing without necessities through the burden of taxation to provide /the money to pay the unemployed, Such men should not get sustenance allowance if -they will not work. .' . XHAXKFUL FOR SMALL MERCIES.
