WOMAN'S LONG "LIST."
SEVENTY-FIVE CONVICTIONS. A woman who waa said by the police V> have 75 previous convictions, Mary Smith ((>0), appeared before Mr. I''. Iv. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court this morning, charged with being an incorrigible rogue within the meaning of the Police Offences Act, in that .-die had insufficient lawful means of support, having previously been convicted on a similar charge on May 5, 1932. She pleaded guilty. Sub-Inspector Edwards said that accused was one of those human derelicts which it was hard to know what to do with. She had been found this morning sleeping out.
In sentencing Smith to three montlfs > imprisonment, Mr. Hunt ordered that she should be medically examined.
