The Rangitata's shipment of New Zea- ! land apples has realised as follows: —- Granny Smith, 10/ to 12/0; small Sturmcrs, 7/ to 8/. I 1 ears (three-quarters*: Barry, 11/ to 13/; Winter Nclis, 11/ to ! io/. BUTTER AND CHEESE QUIET. Latest cable reports received by Auckland dairy produce merchants from their principals in Tooley Street, London, indicate that both (he butter and cheese markets are quiet.. The reports are as follow: — A. IT. Turnbull and Co. (Messrs. W. Weddcl and Co.:- —Danish butter, 86/ per cwt; New Zealand, salted, 77/ to 70/; Australian. 73/ to 74/; New Zealand cheese, white, 49/6 to 50/; coloured, 47/ to 47/6. Both markets quiet. Messrs. .loseph Nathan and Go. (Messrs. Trcngrou.se and Nathan, Tooley Street). — Butter: 77/ to 78/ per cwt. Cheese: White, 49/ per cwt; coloured, 47/. Both markets very quiet. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. has received the following cable from its London house, dated June 20:—Butter: 78/ to 79/ per cwt. Cheese: White, 49/ per cwt; coloured, 47/. Both markets slow. LONDON TALLOW MARKET. The .Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London oftice, under date June 20:— Tallow.—There is a poor demand. Current quotations: Good mutton, 20/6 to 21/ per cwt; good beef, 17/ to 17/6: good mixed, 16/9 to 17/; gut, 14/G to 15/6. LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE.
