BOATING CLUB.
PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. , A bright scene was presented at the Rialto ballroom, in Newmarket, last evening, when the annual dance and presentation of prizes of the Waitemata Boating Club was held. There was a very large attendance of members and representatives from other clubs were also present. At one end of the dance floor the cups and trophies won during the season were displayed and these were later presented to the winners by the president, Mr. Walter Dennison. The function was ■ thoroughly enjoyable in every way. ■The ladies' committee included: Mrs. W. G. Mason, who wore a frock of nut brown lace; Mrs. L. Brooker, black satin and lace; Miss M. Smith, mimosa organdie; Miss B. Mason, black crepe and silver lame; Miss M. Kidd, frock of blue and silver lame; Miss P. Ross, deep cream georgette with red coatee.
Those present included: Mrs. C. Cairns, who wore a frock of gold crepe suede; Mrs. C. Thompson, sunset pink satin relieved with black; Mrs. W. Maddon, black Cliantilly lace; Mrs. P. K. Peachey, rose pink crepe suede; Mrs. Becker, rose satin; Mrs. Topps, sunset lace.and georgette; Mrs. J. Dunn, blue and silver frock; Mrs. T. Keegan, Lido blue georgette with ostrich feather trimming; Miss R. Agnew, black ring velvet; Miss Joyce Murdock, shell pink crepe suede; Miss Dennison, lacquer red crepe suede; Miss Molly McKenzie, black grosgrin; Miss Dorothy Beale, Lido blue crepe satin; Miss M. Turnbull, palest pink georgette; Miss Nancy Shirley, black georgette with silver embroideries; Miss H. Woodcock, black velvet; Miss R. Finlay, forest green chiffon; Miss Molly Foy, black ring velvet; Miss G. Dorling, leaf green organdie; Miss Rita Rendall, phlox pink satin; Miss L. Miller, leaf green organdie; Miss P. Smith, ivory crepe suede; Miss M. Blood, flame coloured velvet; Miss G. Cook, black lace; Miss Margaret Smith, ivory grosgrin; Miss V. Skeates, cherry floral georgette; Miss N. Gallagher, black crepe suede; Miss J. McConnell, black chiffon; Miss Keith, floral chiffon; Miss M. Finlay, beige and gold georgette; Miss M. Cameron, powder blue satin; Miss K. Smith, black satm; Miss Simpson, ivory wind swept velvet.
