ENGINEERING TRADE DISPUTE
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Tie conciliation council sitting to hear the application of the Amalgamated Engineering and Allied Trades' Union for a Dominion award reached a tenta- ;! tive agreement to-day. On most points ; a definite agreement was reached. The assessors for the employers agreed to submit the applicants' wage *• proposals to the districts concerned, and " points not completely settled will be £ further considered on Wednesday, July 2 4, to which date the council was adjourned.
