ANGLO-FRENCH TRADE PACT. (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, June 19. Referring to the trade agreement between Britain and France, which was initialled on Saturday, the Lord Privy Seal, Mr. Anthony Eden, said that, although he was unable to give detailed information pending its signature, it would result among other things in the restoration to Britain of her full share in the French import quotas and in the withdrawal of the 20 per cent surtax in force upon certain French goods imported into Britain. Discussions, he said, were fUso being set on foot for the conclusion of a further agreement regarding the treatment of persons and companies and other miscellaneous questions.
