JUNIOR MANAGEMENT.
At last evening's meeting of the junior . management board of the Auckland Rugby 5 Union, the officials deputed to weigh * junior players on Saturday afternoons re- ; ported that two members of the Eastern * Suburbs fifth grade team and one Grafton . fifth grade player had been found to be ' overweight. ! It was decided to advise these two clubs . to have their teams in order before the i next playing Saturday. It was also resolved that any player ' failing to come within the weight allowed by the rules for his particular grade be not allowed to take part in the match on the day of which he is found to be over.wcight. Before taking part in matches in , that grade again he must bo weighed at [ the union's office. -I The management committee of the union 1. is to be recommended this evening that | the fixtures for each Saturday be pub- • lished on the preceding Wednesday, in- ' stead of Thursday as at present.
