ST. MARY'S HOMES.

The winter fair in aid of St. Mary's Homes added £141 14/7 to funds of the homes. Mrs. Mac Murray gave two prizes in connection with the competition arranged by her for the country associations' stall. The first prize for the best set of articles made from sugar bags was won by the Royal Oak branch, of which Mrs. Montieth is secretary, Howick coming second, and Whangarei a close third. The prize for the best single article, made from sugar bags, was won by Miss Simkin, Mangere branch, Mrs. Jas. Jones, secretary.
